Jerome P. Gomez

Jerome Gomez is President & CEO of Global Corporate Management Ltd., a financial and corporate service firm licensed by the Securities Commission of The Bahamas. Mr. Gomez previously served as Retail Sales Manager at Shell Bahamas from 1990 to 2001 and from 1982 to 1985. He also served in various positions at Barclays Bank PLC and Credit Suisse. Mr. Gomez has in the past been appointed by the government to a number of boards, including Chairman of the Consumer Protection Commission, Chairman of the Hospitals and Health Care Facilities Licensing Board, Deputy Chairman of the Town Planning Committee and a member of the Bahamas Real Estate Association Disciplinary Committee. Mr. Gomez has been instrumental in assisting the Government of The Bahamas to launch the first Venture Capital Fund in the country and served in the capacity of Fund Administrator from 2005 to 2011. He serves as a director of various companies in the financial services, environmental consulting and insurance loss adjusting sectors. A graduate of St. Augustine’s College, Nassau, Mr. Gomez holds a B.Sc. in economics and finance from Barry University, Miami, Florida. He is a former Senator of the Government (2012-2017).
